Life burns and its
Colour fades into the
Bright fire
Yellow
Orange
Shades of brown
Red … not too much please
Fire burns and so does the freeze
Green nowhere to be seen
Autumn colours
Stampede over each other in
Rush to shine before the
Freeze of winter
Puts an end to the
Games of flowering and deflowering
Lovers go home
Birds are migrants on the shores
Bees are hungry with no food
Game ends
Life suspends
Falling leaves attempts to
Draw the pain
Draw the suffering
Life burning into
Autumn colours
Shades of brown
Green nowhere…
