A teacher stands in despair
Another student leaves noisily
A chaos of restless bodies
Another question marks
The crowd lacking the listening skill
The same answer is given the hundredth time
A teacher stands in despair
Observing unruly class
Observing the disintegration of own soul
A shadow paces across the floor
The torturous hour is over
Another unlearned lesson done for the day
A shadow paces across the floor
To fading into oblivion.

This would be me teaching ninth grade English at York Academy. Lasted two years.
I did wonder how many teachers would relate to this experience and the poem!! 🙂
Yep, you nailed it!
