A Goddess Lost

Silence fills the void

Starring at the horizon I see the

Line between my wall and the

Caged horizon is all there is

I close my eyes in despair.

Fire … the fire place is lit

Horses gallop through the fire

Hallow sketched of light

Lines of brightness

Ridden by a mistress of

Beauty, unspoken beauty for the

Athena … Minerva

I whisper feverishly and

Athena … Minerva

I whisper feverishly spreading the

Around me in circles

Few books left souvenirs from

Time gone

Time I cherished my Athena

Time of fading memory

Time I often spoke to Minerva

Laughing at my childishness.

She looked at me

Wide eyes

Beautiful eyes

Spoke in the voice of pain

Where is my Athenaeum?

Where are the candles?

Where is the soul of being?

Where is the heart of living?

Where is the joy, the pleasures, the

Intercourse in the wilderness of endless war

Body and mind

Where …

When the goddess of wisdom looks

What can a mortal do?

Withering both

Body and mind

Goddess lost

Frozen in time

Fear and loneliness

Draw her beautiful face

Withering memories of

School days

Withering imagination of an innocent

Boy lost.

Would the lost goddess ever return?
